ROLE

We are looking for an ambitious intern to join our growing team at Robertsbridge in Jakarta. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in sustainability, driving societal change, and supporting businesses worldwide in tackling the twin challenges of decarbonization and environmental degradation.

Robertsbridge helps clients to operate successfully in the context of rapidly shifting policy and regulatory frameworks, and customer and campaigning pressure.

As an intern, you will work across the company and region, supporting various clients and account teams. This role requires the ability to quickly absorb information, ideas, and discussions, then distil them into clear, informative briefs that help our clients shape public policy, achieve long-term success, and drive meaningful, sustainable change.

Interns will be immersed in all aspects of our work, from strategy development to communication campaigns. They will collaborate closely with the entire team, gaining valuable insights from industry experts. This experience will help cultivate intellectual curiosity and inspire a career path as change agents in the sustainability consulting field.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIIES

• · Assist in Sustainability/ESG Strategy: Review and analyze corporate activities, offering recommendations to enhance sustainability and ESG strategies, methods, frameworks, and tools to help clients achieve their sustainability objectives.
  
• Monitor Societal and Corporate Events: Track and create briefings on key societal events and institutional/corporate activities related to critical topics, providing your own insightful analysis.
  
• Project Support: Assist with desktop research, data analysis, technical writing, and other essential project tasks.
  
• Develop Client Materials: Contribute to the development of proposals, presentations, and other collateral materials.
  
• Engage with Teams: Support the management of engagement teams performing fieldwork, including project management, client relations, and review of analysis, work papers, reports, and presentations.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a top-tier university with a Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, business, sustainability, economics, or a related field.

Previous internships in sustainability would be a plus.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent organizational and analytical abilities. Experience in recording and writing detailed technical data and reports is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Strong research and writing skills, with a creative approach to problem-solving.
• Passionate about sustainability and eager to stay informed on the latest developments in ESG and sustainability across various business sectors.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• A genuine passion for sustainability, circular economy, decarbonization, and corporate transformation.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia.

DURATION

The internship is for a fixed 6 month period. After which there may be the opportunity to become a permanent employee.

SALARY AND HOLIDAY

The Intern role salary is between IDR 7,000,000 – 8,000,000 / month GROSS salary (i.e. subject to witholding tax) depending on experience.

Interns will have 10 days paid annual leave and paid public holidays for the 6 month position.
